Library Services During the Pandemic

Good day to all! Welcome to the libraries of Southern Christian College located in Midsayap, Cotabato.

The whole world, and the Philippines in particular is in a current situation where the covid19 pandemic necessitates all educational institutions to work safely and conduct classes following health protocols or standards under the new normal condition.

Anent to this, the library services department supports the flexible, the blended and the home-based learning modality that Southern Christian College will employ starting August 2020. As usual, our faculty and students could still make use of the library and its services. We still cater the usual and conventional face to face services to our clients. The circulation services which includes borrowing of books and other printed materials, the use of the cyber library computer stations still continue. However, everyone in campus who may come and use our library shall follow the Library Health and Safety Guidelines and must observe social/physical distancing protocols at all times.

To our students who are on home-based learning, and those clients you are not in the physical confines of the library can still avail the different services through the Library Connect that we prepared and designed for you.

The SCC Library Webpage is one of the digital initiatives of our Library where we store and make links to vast collections of online resources and databases that our faculty and students can browse and use to support instruction and the teaching-learning process. This webpage also includes SCC' subscribed electronic books and ejournals that provide information to our patrons's information for their assignments, researches and other informtion needs.

To access our Library Webpage, you go through the Southern Christian College official website: https://southernchristiancollege.edu.ph/. Then click E-learning => Library System: OPAC or Digital Library.

It is our hope that you will find your studies and learning well amidst the pandemic. Maximize the use of our conventional and online library resources and services. Thank you and God bless us always.
